If Muslim women accept these conditions, they can do workouts in the gym

Can Muslim women go to the gym to work out? Mufti Tariq Kasami of Jamia Hussania, Deoband's madrasa, says that Muslim women can do so provided that certain conditions are followed.

According to Mufti, women who go to the gym to keep the body fit, there can be scope for this in Islam. But it is important that there is no non-Sharia practice there. There is nothing against Islam. There should also be a proper arrangement of curtains.

Shouldn't be singing


Mufti said that when women are present in the gym, then there should be no presence of men. There should also be no singing. The Mufti also said that if two women are present in the gym, do not look at each other's sattar (body). This means that no part of the body is open for women in front of each other.  

Mufti said, 'If women follow these things and go to the gym to keep themselves fit, then according to me it should be absolutely right.'   

Awareness has also increased among Muslim women for health. Recently, there was news from Bhopal that there are Muslim women doing workouts in the gym too, staying in hijab and burqa. For their convenience, a female trainer has been placed in the gym. A government gym built at a cost of 70 lakhs in Bhopal is popular. Special arrangements have been made for Muslim women in the gym .  

A large number of Muslim women have shown interest in the gym. Workout under burka is now making other women aware towards fitness and it is proving beneficial for women. This way of Muslim women shows that she does not want to stay behind in any field and she can do a lot by staying in the burqa .
